Amáda Márquez Simula wins DFL Primary Election for MN House

We did it! I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the voters of House District 39B who came out for this primary. Whether you knocked on doors, made calls, put up a yard sign, shared our message, or simply voted, you helped make this possible. I am deeply grateful.

This campaign was never about winning for its own sake. It was about listening and building something together. Over the past months, I’ve sat at kitchen tables, stood in backyards, visited faith communities, and talked over coffee with more neighbors than I can count. I’ve heard your concerns about affordability, our environment, seniors and children, and the importance of standing up for our immigrant neighbors, friends, and family members.

Every conversation reminded me why public service matters. I’m incredibly proud of the campaign we ran and the team that built it. Their hard work and belief in this campaign have meant everything to me.

I also want to thank Justice Spriggs for running a spirited campaign and giving voters a choice in this election. I wish him well going forward.

This primary was an important step, but it is only one step. Whether you voted for me or not, you are part of this district, and I want to represent all of us. I hope you’ll stay with us as we move toward November and continue building a stronger, more welcoming future for House District 39B.

Thank you for believing in me and in what we can accomplish together. Don’t forget to vote on November 3, too!
